About BICAPP
Founded in 2018 thanks to specific fundings for universities, the BICAPP represents a high-level research center gathering academics from the psycholocial and technological areas with a keen interest in Mobile interaction, UX/UI development, Augmented Reality and Mobile user tests.
Bicapp designs solutions for research and businesses utilising the User-Centred Design principles and our psychological knowledges on factors deriving from adopting cutting edge technology.
Given this impetus, the BICAAP research center arises from the shared vision of creating cutting-edge tools to promote psychological research in the development and design of new mobile and wearable technolgies. We are psychologists, technologists, researchers and students; all professionals with the awareness of the benefits that mobile technologies can bring to people’s lives. We love solving problems, taking user needs and technology capabilities into account.






Our mission
- To develop scientific research in the field of human factors and human interaction with wearable and portable technology
- To acquire private financing for products and technologies development in which human aspects are critical
- To promote and support the acquisition of research funds through participation in competitive national and international calls
- To provide consultancy to public and private stakeholders
- To disseminate psychological aspects of human computer interaction through hig-level courses (e.g. Workshops and Summer Schools)
- To implement targeted communication and dissemination activities that ensure visibility to companies and organizations (universities, institutes, associations, national chapters and associations) that either make a significant contribution to VR/AR/MR or are end users of such technologies
- Generate revenue from the creation and dissemination of patents deriving from the industrial application of our research
- To support the creation of technology start-ups
